Responsibilities:
1. Generate sales revenues by performing product and software demonstrations at customer sites;
2. Evaluate customer requirements for this purpose; including installation location, mounting, software solutions, customer engineering drawings, CAD data, GD&T and inspection plans;
3. Perform product demonstrations to generate product awareness and generate potential sales;
4. Utilize all available resources including sales management, Inside Sales Specialists, Applications Engineers, marketing and others to advance and close sales;
5. Work as part of the sales team to generate ideas for sales opportunities, processes and systems;
6. Act as primary point of contact and provide technical support to potential customers during the evaluation period;
7. Inform clients of new products and software solutions as they are announced or released;
8. Review and maintain high profile customer relationships as identified.
9. Sell the company"s line of products, obtain leads and close sales to achieve revenue goals and create long-term purchase agreements with key accounts.
10. Review and maintain relationships with customers within assigned region and assist in growing new sales opportunities as identified;
11. Provide strategic input to the Country Manager. Identify and report on potential opportunities to promote sales growth;
12. Establish budgets and ensure compliance with expense guidelines. Update database in ************** and generate reports as required.
Qualifications Required:
1. Degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent;
2. At least 3 years direct sales experience in capital equipment and/or industrial products in heavy industries including automobile, aerospace, shipyard, molding, etc;
3. Knowledge and experience in Mechanical design CAD & reverse engineering and Metrology & Measuring, and/or applications will be an advantage;
4. Good problem solving and communications skills
5. English language skills;
6. High energy individual and team player.
